Common questions
How does Starlog read my receipt?
We use on-device OCR (Google ML Kit) to extract the store name, amount, and date — your receipt images aren't sent anywhere for text extraction. You can edit any field if the read isn't perfect.
Why do you want my Google Drive?
Drive is where your receipt images live — under your account, not ours. We only access the folder we create for Starlog. You can disconnect Drive at any time from in-app Settings.
Is multi-user really free?
Yes — no per-seat fee on any plan. Invite as many submitters as you need at no cost. You're only billed on the receipts you accept onto your books (30/month free), and the paid tiers are for removing that cap or running more than one business.
I signed in with Apple but Drive isn't working.
Apple Sign-In doesn't grant Google Drive access automatically. From in-app Settings, link your Google account to enable Drive sync.
How do I export my receipts?
Go to Reports → Export, or open any single report and tap Share. You'll get a ZIP with an XLSX spreadsheet and every receipt image.
Account deletion
To delete your account and all associated data, follow the steps on our delete-account page or open in-app Settings → Account → Delete account.
