Applies to Starlog: Receipt & Expense Log (Google Play package com.starlancegroup.starlog).
Delete in the app (recommended)
This is the fastest and complete method:
- Open Starlog.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
This permanently deletes your account and associated data. The deletion is queued immediately.
Delete by email (if you can’t open the app)
Email support [at] starlancegroup [dot] com from the email address tied to your account, and ask us to delete it. Sending the request from the account’s own address lets us verify it’s you. We action deletion requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your authentication account (Google or Apple Sign-In).
- Your profile.
- All companies, expense reports, and receipts you own.
- Uploaded receipt images stored by the app.
- Billing and subscription records the app holds for your account.
What may be retained — and why
- Receipts you exported to your own Google Drive. These stay in your Drive — we don’t control your Drive and can’t delete them for you. You can remove them yourself from Drive at any time.
- Transaction and purchase records. Where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, we keep the minimum necessary records for the legally required period.
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics that can no longer be tied back to you.
Apart from the exceptions above, your data is deleted within 30 days of your request, unless a longer legal retention period applies.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription
If you have an active Google Play subscription, deleting your Starlog account does not cancel it. To stop being billed, cancel the subscription in the Play Store: Play Store → Subscriptions.
