Delete your account

You can remove your Starlog account and associated data at any time, from inside the app or by emailing us. Here’s how — and what gets removed.

Option 1 — In the app (recommended)

This is the fastest path:

  • Open Starlog on your phone.
  • Go to Settings → Account.
  • Tap Delete account and confirm.

The deletion is queued immediately. Your account is removed and associated data is purged within 30 days.

Option 2 — By email

If you can't access the app, email support@starlancegroup.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject line Delete my account. We'll verify it's you and process deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record and authentication identifiers.
  • All receipts, reports, and custom categories you created.
  • Your company memberships and submitter invitations.
  • App usage telemetry tied to your account.

What stays — and why

  • Files in your Google Drive. Your Drive belongs to you. Starlog cannot — and will not — delete files from your Drive when you delete your account. You can clear them yourself from Drive at any time.
  • Anonymized aggregate metrics. Counts and statistics that no longer link to your identity.
  • Limited records required by law. Where Indian law requires retention (for example, transaction logs), we retain the minimum necessary, anonymized where possible.

If you're a submitter

Receipts you previously submitted to a company you don't own are part of that owner's book of record. Those specific receipts remain with the owner. Your account, your identity, and your standalone receipts are deleted as described above.
